Scattered Thoughts 2.0

Well, Scattered Thoughts isn't 2.0, but I did just upgrade to WordPress 2.0, so if something doesn't work, let me know and I'll work to fix it. I think everything works, but my beta testing was limited to a couple hours at work today.

Spring Break Plans

Ok, so I forgot to post this in my last post, so here it is now. There is a great possibility (pending funds) that I will be going to Florida Sea Base this year over Spring Break. DJ and Will's troop (T119, I think) have an opening for an adult to go with them. I'm meeting with the Scoutmaster to discuss details tomorrow.

This Weekend’s Details

Hokay, so here is the plan for the weekend as it stands right now. Mojo will be down here Friday evening through Sunday morning. If you want to come hang out, call my cell to find out where we'll be. We will be eating at Mother Bear's on both Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner. That is all.

As for the rest of the post… I really don't know what to write about. I haven't been feeling like writing lately, mostly because there isn't anything really going on in my life. I'm going to class, going to work, hanging out with Erin, playing WoW, etc. This week sucks for me. Yesterday, I had a group exam in Z302 and tonight I have an individual exam. The group exam went well, I think; my group was done with 45 minutes to go in class. But from what I've heard, the individual exams are the killers. We'll see how I fair on tonight's test.

Last weekend was a blast. It was my birthday weekend, so it was FULL of parties. Friday was Happy Hour at Nick's instead of Kilroy's. It was a good time, although I do vote that we go back to Kilroy's this week simply on the basis of cost. After Happy Hour, we went to Thea's for a while where I proceeded to be in a state of mind that prohibitted me from remembering certain things.

Saturday night I hung out with Will, Cardrey and Andy. It was nice and refreshing to have a break from the parties.

Sunday was the Super Bowl party which was a blast! I didn't drink more than three beers, but there were some pretty wasted people there. It was funny to watch the drunk people stumble around the house and cheer at the TV. The game had a favorable outcome, although I didn't really care about it. Go Steelers! After the party, I had to do homework, and I did homework until I passed out.

All in all it was a good birthday weekend.

So Monday = Work 8-4 + group meeting + studying for my exam therefore Monday = suck. Tuesday = group exam + sleep for the graveyard + dinner with a frustrated Erin therefore Tuesday = good :) Any day I get to see Erin for any amount of time is a good day :)

As for the rest of the week:
Today = graveyard + sleep + group exam therefore Today = sucktacular. I don't get to see Erin today :( . Thrusday = work 12-4 – class + Erin at some point therefore Thursday = awesome! And this weekend will be freakin awesome because Mojo as well as everyone else will be in town. I'm so excited!

And that's about all I want to write right now. It's almost 4:30am and I need to get up and walk around for a while cause I'm really, really tired.

peace out!

No Post

No post tonight. I have two exams this week in my class, one tomorrow and one on Wednesday. The time I would spend writing this post will be time spent studying.

News of the day — I joined one of the Penny Arcade WoW guilds today — Disciples of Divx. It should be fun. When I joined, everyone seemed happy to have me. Only good things can come of this.

That's all, I'm out. Enjoy life, friends.

Happy Candlemas!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TA TA!!! You know, all you have to look forward to is Alzheimer’s and bad eye sight and loss of hair and the list goes on. Welp, enjoy today, anyway!!! :-D
–Eileen this morning in an instant message

It's also happy my birthday, happy Groundhog's Day, happy Imbolc, etc. etc. For ways to celebrate these holidays, check out this and this and this.

So yea, today's my birthday. I'm now 24, which is almost a quarter of a century. So far the plans for the day include working from noon to four, then napping, then heading to dinner with Erin at Asuka, then to Brewster's for Ice Cream. If it's still raining, the second scoop of ice cream is free :) That's it. I'm telling you, every birthday after 21 is like waiting for free second scoop of ice cream day.

I'm really tired for some reason; more tired than I usually am on a Thursday. I blame this on the damn yipping dog that lives next door. I've thought about testing out Will's shotgun on that damn animal. Regardless of the time of day, it's yipping and howling at something.

So, this weekend is the Super Bowl, eh? Well, Will and I are hosting the Super Bowl party. Details are here so I expect to see everyone there. There are discussions about securing a keg of something for the party instead of the BYOB, so we'll see how that goes.

I have told Gmail that anything that comes from Facebook and MySpace is spam and should be treated as such. Furthermore, I want to know who started the write-on-someone's-wall-when-it's-their-birthday tradition cause I was stirred from my sleep by my iMac freaking out every couple of seconds because someone new wrote on my damn wall. It's a good thing it woke me up or else I wouldn’t have made it to work, but still, it's the principle of the matter.

All you Windows Users out there, I hope you're ready for this. It all happens this weekend.

Man, I really don't know of anything else to write about, so I'm going to call it quits… I'm still keeping with my every Monday and Thursday tradition though. I'm thinking about switching it to every Monday and Wednesday since I work the graveyard on Wednesday and I've had to restrain myself from writing an entry overnight.

Come to The Second Annual Celebration of the John "Kooder" Koluder Memorial Super Bowl Bash and Swap Meet! It'll be a good time, I promise.

peace!
