Anonymous Commenters, Be Warned

Dear 'me',

Greetings 'me' from 216.9.146.103. What a creative name and identity you have constructed for yourself. Too bad that the person who you are posing as already contacted me (and about four other people) saying that they did not post that comment.

Here's a news flash to you: I've already figured out who you are. Ironically everyone (including the hjwagner@indiana.edu that you posed as) knew who you were without searching the IP address. It took two seconds of searching before I uncovered enough evidence to convict you of being a chicken shit.

A long time ago when I started this blog, there was an edict made known to everyone who reads, "anonymous comments will not be tolerated". You have until noon on Saturday to contact me off this site before I take more action. Consider yourself warned.

I am 98% confident of your identity for several reasons: 1) My pinging of your internet service provider turned up a similar IP to the one you posted from. 2) The address returned by an address search on your IP returned the address at which you reside during the school year. 3) The logged in username on the machine that made the post is you.

If someone else did post this comment, maybe you should start securing your machine better when you leave it unattended.

If you wish to contact me offline, you know every way to do so. If there was any doubt in your mind where our friendship stands, maybe this should give you a clue.

Sincerely,

Age check!

Grow up people, seriously. I'll never understand how someone can be so hot/cold when it comes to personality. Maybe you all need some freakin Zyphrexa to cool down your Bipolar Mania… I don't know, I'm not a doctor.

That's all I'm going to say about that subject… moving on.

This summer can't start soon enough. The bullshit that has dominated this semester will come to an end and we can all get back to our lives as usual.

I agree with Mojo when he says that the summer can't be full of all of this drama crap. We all have to keep it from happening, I'm sure it will be fine. I'm excited to get out to the 'Burg next week. From what I understand, I'll be working for Keith for a few weeks, then NCS in Nebraska, and then NCS at Ransburg. This summer is going to be a trip.

This week is finals week. Here's my exam schedule:
Tuesday: ECON E202 2:45pm – 4:45pm
Wednesday: INFO I300 10:15am – 12:15pm
Thursday: INFO I308 12:30pm – 2:30pm
CSCI A202 5:00pm – 8:00pm

As you can see, it's a race for the end of the semester. I just hope I can keep up.

What a Night!

Wow… Last night was surprisingly awesome.

We had the KKPsi/TBS end of the semester banquet last night and to tell you all the truth, I wasn't really looking forward to it at the beginning of the day. I took some stuff home, chilled with the rents, bought a plane ticket to Omaha NE (if you want to know, ask me, I don't have time to go into the details here) and then raced back to Bloomington to make it just in time for dinner to be served.

Dinner wasn't too great, the food was only ok, company was good. The awards happened, I gradually got more pissed off then it all ended and the dancing started. By that time, I was in a good mood and things were starting to go well.

About half way through, things turned awesome. The music rocked, the company was the best anyone could ask for, and good times were to be had by all.

Then the last half hour came around. I didn't know what to think, to be honest. Earlier in the night I hadn't realized that this was probably the last time I was going to see some of these people, but then I did. We all danced to the traditional last tunes Free Bird, Stand by Me… And then came the American Pie

Now, sometime a while back, that song became the traditional last song that we sing at our banquets; we all get in a circle, throw our shoes in the middle and do this crazy kick line dance to the whole song. When I was a freshman, I thought it was one of the most lame things we did, in fact, I was a little embarassed that we did it. Over the years, I've grown very fond of dancing shoulder to shoulder with the brothers and sisters of Alpha Zeta and Rho. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to spend six minutes or so doing a crazy dance with.

Ok, so none of that really makes sense, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm really going to miss that simple happiness. It has been said that a folk song will bring an entire group of people together with an expression of simple happiness. I never realized how very true that is until last night.

At the end of the evening, while we were all standing there in that circle, singing at the top of our lungs, I couldn't think of anywhere I would have rather been. It surprises me how things change over time; it's amazing how much the little things that we take for granted when we're younger mean to us when we grow up…

What a Night!

Current Mood – Nostalgic
