Thank God for March!More basketball

Thank God for March!

More basketball than you can shake a stick at.

Yea, so if you didn't hear the news, I am heading to Boston tomorrow morning. I'm traveling with the basketball band to the tournament. Go Hoosiers! Our Athletic Director has purchased the pep band members going on the trip red Nike sweater vests to wear rather than the basketball band vests. I'm excited. Free trip to Boston, free red sweater vest, yay :) I just hope the Hoosiers can pull off one win (vs. Alabama) so I get to stay the weekend. To start it all off, we're having a cookout at Bryan Park at 4:00 today. I know I know, I'm going to be missing the Arizona Vermont game, but hey, this is a warm up for the weekend. Gotta go!

Anyway, I totally cleaned the house yesterday. It's spotless, and should stay that way until at least Sunday when the roomates return. You should see my house :) It's amazing how clean it can be.

I had to run home again tomorrow because I left my luggage for this weekend at home. I ended up staying longer than I wanted to, which was a good thing. I went with my family to Greenwood to do some shopping. The main reason I went was to find a phone faceplate for my cell. The one I have is starting to lose it's color (it's the one that came with the phone). I discovered, to my dismay, the phone I spent $100 on is now the free phone that is given to people when they sign up for a plan. Damn the way technology changes… hehe

I'm pretty much packed for Boston (I'm excited, can't you tell). This is my favorite time of year. It's starting to get warm outside and Basketball All Freakin Day!!!

Alright, I'm heading out of here, gotta watch more basketball :-D

Spring Break Boredom Spring Break….mmmmm…..what

Spring Break Boredom

Spring Break….mmmmm…..what fun.

Let me recap all of my break so far.
Thursday – Classes, Basketball at Scotty's
Friday – Work, Lunch with Karly, Disc Golf, Basketball at The City Grille
Saturday – Work, Basketball with Tony, Ryan and Neil
Today – Take Ryan Neil and Jess to the Airport, Work…so far

My last week has been freakin awesome. Everything is going well in my life. I can't complain about anything really. Kirstee and I had a fight online at the end of the week prior, but we made up and are back on speaking terms now. Classes are going well and I had no major assignments due. Work has been great. The weather is now freakin awesome! I'm done with my things are good rant.

So, Friday at Disc Golf, I shot a 0 and Ryan and Neil both shot a +6. I would have shot a +2 had I not got a hole-in-one on hole 11. We played at Karst Farm Park, which has a decent disc golf course. Hole 11 is the whole where the basket is nested inside a circle of trees. I was very surprised when I heard the disc clang into the basket. I had attempted the shot once and taken a mulligan because my disc landed almost at hole 10's tee. The second shot was right on though.

Anyway, I'm at work right now, so I will probably edit this post when I come up with something else to write.

Long Time No Post It’s

Long Time No Post

It's been a long time since I've posted in this. There's been a lot going on lately.

I recently registered my own domain!! If you're reading this blog, you have noticed this. I now own http://www.tlmason.com. This will become my home page, blog, message boards, and everything else that is associated with a home page. I will be re-designing this blog and my home page so that they match. So there's that. That's the main reason that I have not been able to keep my blog up to date. It's been more than a week since I've posted, I'm sorry. Anyway, I'm back and it's working on my site, so all is well.

Last week, If you remember, I applied and interviewed for a job as a Consultant Support Specialist for STC. I got the job and am now a Business CSS. I enjoy it a lot more than the consultant gig. It's a lot busier than the consultant job simply because my main task now is to evaluate consultants and labs. The job is also a lot more enjoyable because I get to walk around the business area (BU, LI, GY, PY, GR) and visit other consultants.

As for the web site, I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. All I know is that I want a new design. I'm thinking something greyish with a few colors and images, lots of images. This means I need to start taking pictures, lots of pictures. If I had a lot of time, I would make my site look like this, but I don't have so much time.

Spring break is next week!!!! I'm so excited. I will be done with work on Sunday evening, so if you want to hang out or do something let me know via IM or via e-mail. All my contact info is on my web site (the old one linked on this page). I will be going to the basket ball tournament (if we beat Penn State) on the last weekend of break. Hopefully we will stay where we are now, we're going to Tampa Florida. Talk about your free vacation. :)

Anyway, that's all I've got for now, I will try to get back to the "interesting blog posts" either during spring break.

Home Sweet Home I’m posting

Home Sweet Home

I'm posting this from home, so if it takes me a couple tries, you know why.

/*IU Basketball*/
What is up with IU Basketball? Some people would say that they just suck this year. Some people would say that they just had a really tough conference season. Here's what I think. After their tournament run last year, they got the infamous head-does-not-fit-through-the-door-anymore disease a.k.a. I have a big head. The 8-0 start added to this making them feel invincible. Then they lost all but one of their conference road games, making their confidence go way down. They will win the next two games and the big ten tournament, then they will be confident enough to do well in the NCAA tournament. Maybe even bring home the National Championship that they were cheated out fo last year.

/*Saturday*/
I've rarely been posting in this thing lately so it's a different expirence when I don't have much to talk about. Anyway, here's my yesterday. I went to Pike High School's Musicfest. Shelbyville was there, so it was a good time. I saw Chris there (who everyone in Psi thought had died) and talked to him for a while. He's not taking classes this semester so it's like he died to us. Anyway…

/*Sunday*/
Ran home for the day today. I had to take care of some things here, and pick up a computer so I can repair it. That brings us up to St. Johns and Duke tied at 71 with 38 seconds to go! Go St. Johns. I thought for sure that Duke was going to win when they were up by 11, but St Johns went on an 11-0 run. Anyway, I'm out for now.

Quote of the day "They're not getting a number 1 seed" — announcer after St. Johns upset Duke. I love college basketball.
